South Kilburn Trust is working to improve the prospects of residents in South Kilburn. We seek to harness and amplify the voice of residents to help improve local services and achieve better results for everyone. We are working with residents and local partners to devise and deliver a strategy to achieve this.
Priorities & Actions

This research and mapping has been commissioned by Brent Council and is intended to capture evidence of need from a wide range of sources, and map current local services, assets and organisations in South Kilburn. This report draws together the evidence accumulated from the research, mapping and one to one conversations with local partners and stakeholders.

During the presentation of their findings to partners and stakeholders in South Kilburn, Community Regen identified six initial priorities based on their mapping, research, and one-to-one conversations with local community groups and providers.
In the workshop, these partners and stakeholders worked together to determine the initial actions required to address the identified priorities. Click here to learn more.

Following the Community Regen report and workshop held 27th March 2024, South Kilburn Trust agreed to adopt and build on the findings on behalf of the South Kilburn Community Working Party (CWP).
The Trust is doing this by:
-
Identifying Thematic Action Groups to deliver on existing priorities.
-
Recruiting a Community Engagement team and devising a strategy to find out what matters to South Kilburn Residents.
-
Working with the CWP and residents to build a resident-led forum to identify future priorities for South Kilburn.

In March 2024, 7 Action Groups were created out of a list of area priorities created by a mapping project commissioned by Brent Council. These Action Groups are comprised of local partners, businesses, and stakeholders, with the goal of bettering life in South Kilburn.
We mobilise local partner organisations to get involved in these Action Groups in order to improve services in South Kilburn.
